We start with the best material we can buy at competitive prices from world sources. It is inspected when it arrives and quality checked again and again while being processed and packaged. To fulfill the meaning of total service, we have made significant investments in some of the finest processing equipment available in the Northwest. Amada Precision Shear

The Amada Precision Shears are located in multiple locations and deliver superb accuracy and consistency which is critical for custom size blanking. These are premier machines and they complement shearing equipment located throughout our branch network to provide fast, local service. Schelling Plate Saw

The Schelling Precision Plate Saw, located in Portland, understates the term "precision cutting". While PM offers a wide range of aluminum plate sawing capabilities, the Schelling provides dimensional and squareness accuracy produced to customer requirements­ consistently. Quality surface finish is guaranteed. With orders demanding ultra-close tolerances, the computerized quality control system can produce printout reports on an entire production run.

Red Bud

The Newest addition to our processing equipment is the Red Bud High Speed Cut-to-Length Blanking Line. It is located in out Portland facility and was put into service in 1996. This precision piece of equipment with 723" capacity produces blanks and sheets to dimensional and flatness tolerances no other line can match. We can level a coil, slit it to multiple widths and then cut to length - all in one pass! The Red Bud system produces multi-cut blanks from mill coils assuring the same lot, thickness and dimensional consistency. With single point shear blade clearance adjustment, we can insure a high quality cut every time. Unique camber compensation produces extremely accurate, square parts. Think of Pacific Metal as being the "cutting edge" of processing technology.
